Watch the Macy’s July 4th Fireworks Show: The 41st annual show is said to be their largest display in more than a decade. The fireworks can be viewed between 24th Street and 41st Street on the East River. The fireworks start around 9:25 p.m., and the show will last 25 minutes. From Manhattan, you can watch the show at the following locations: E 42nd Street & FDR Drive, E 34th Street and FDR Drive, E 23rd Street and FDR Drive, E 16th Street and Avenue C and Houston Street and FDR Drive. Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks
July 4th Beach Party: Enjoy the holiday surrounded with live music, booze, delicious food, fireworks and a beach view. Riis Park Beach Bazaar: This annual summer-long market and concert series is back and better than ever for this holiday weekend. The boardwalk will be filled with tasty food vendors and you can sunbathe and swim while enjoying some live music. Midsummer Night Swing: David Ostwald’s Louis Armstrong Eternity Band: On July 4, Lincoln Center’s Midsummer Night Swing will play the music of Louis Armstrong when David Ostwald’s Eternity Band delivers hits by the American trumpeter.
